Dear Josh,
Following the very successful sale of my home at No 5 Albert Street and the purchase of Unit 3/19 Dundas Street Youngtown both in Youngtown I felt it only fitting to write this commendation to you expressing my complete satisfaction with the highly professional way you handled both transactions. It is a well-known fact that selling and buying property is a very stressful undertaking. This was not so in my case, your ability to put people at east while at the same time successfully conducting your business made, in my case buying and selling a breeze. Josh, you would not be fully aware that in February I looked at five separate units, each unit had a different agent all of whom wished to give me and evaluation on my home and attempting me to sign with them, in one extreme case a biro was held at me asking me what they needed to do to get my signature? One good thing that did come out of the exercise, that I did get an overall average price of what I could expect if I had sold. It was in August that I did decide to look into the market and that was when you approached me with an interested buyer. Remarkably six days later I had put signature to paper and a week later you came up with the unit that I now own. All of this in a little over two weeks, incredible!
Now for the remarkable part, your initial offer was $15,000 above the other five agents and when I asked you to try for a higher price you came back in under an hour with a further $10,000, a total of $25,000 above your competitors.
Having earlier dealt with other agents I genuinely believe they could not have achieved anywhere near what you were able to achieve and in a couple of cases they would have gone for a lower price and a quick sale. Josh, as a testament to your ability to work for your client at the highest level, totally free from pressure and a whole lot of spiel as to how good I am, please feel free to use this letter.
